Saludos, Casep!
IMO I really hate doing this.(Me maintainer)
ResponderEliminarIf one can update the package by himself, I think we should drop this package in the repo. Updating such packages is painful, because the upstream can release a version everyday, but we cannot promise push every update to people everyday.
Christopher, hi:
ResponderEliminarFirst of all, thanks!
Second, we *do* need the packages, first, luckily I've enough time to poke around reporting bugs (this one I reported it on Fedora's bugzilla and youtube-dl's git), but most don't, so for all those counting with the proper updated rpm it's a good thing, a very good one; secondly I'm kinda lazy I need those to install easily a lot install most of my software ;), finally I'm pretty sure doing that "sudo thingy" it's too complicated for my mom, for instance. So, yes, I think we do need the packages.
So, thanks again, and please let me know if there's any way I can help you.
Regards!
